Stuart Nelson insists Mark McGhee's crisis talks with his Aberdeen players after their defeat at Falkirk will unite the squad. The Dons were locked in the visitors' dressing room for around an hour after Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League's basement boys as manager McGhee desperately sought the reasons behind their woeful inconsistency this season.
The 28 year old reckons the summit could prove a turning point in a campaign that is in danger of unravelling.
"People got things off their chest," said Nelson.
"It gave everyone an opportunity to speak.
"What was said will remain in the dressing room and it'll bring us closer together."
