Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee hopes to sign permanently Manchester City midfielder Paul Marshall.

Marshall, 20, last week joined the Dons from Manchester City until the end of the season. He impressed on his debut in Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League win at Dundee United and could keep his place for this weekend's Active Nation Scottish Cup fourth-round tie with Hearts.

McGhee said in the Evening Express: "There is a possibility Marshall could become a permanent move."
