Aberdeen insist they'll survive Grimmer defection to Fulham

Aberdeen chief Willie Miller says they'll survive the loss of Jack Grimmer.

Youth chief and Dons legend Miller was disappointed to lose top kid Grimmer, 18, to Premiership Fulham in a £250,000 move.

Miller told the Scottish Sun: "Jack Grimmer is gone. When he was with us we treated him as well as we could.

"He's a fine young player and we wish him well. Fulham taking him is a back-handed compliment to us and how we are bringing players through.

"But we want them to stay here and contribute to the first team."
