Aberdeen hit by Flood crisis

Aberdeen have been dealt a blow with news that Willo Flood is set to be sidelined for up to six weeks.

The 28-year old midfielder underwent a scan on his hamstring on Wednesday morning and the end result was that he will likely be out of action until Christmas.

Flood sustained the problem during last weekend's 3-1 loss to Heart of Midlothian at Pittodrie and will now being rehab on the affected area.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Scans have this morning confirmed that midfielder Willo Flood has suffered a small tear to his hamstring and will be out for between 4-6 weeks."
