Aberdeen's four contract rebels have been given an extra week to decide on their future.

Chris Clark, Zander Diamond, Michael Hart and Barry Nicholson all now have until next Monday to commit to new contracts.

Manager Jimmy Calderwood said: "We will speak with them again because we need clarification but it's difficult to do that with the hectic schedule we have.

"That's why we will wait until next Monday to make a final announcement about what is happening. We're hopeful of a positive outcome."
