Aberdeen are chasing Blackburn Rovers striker Nick Blackman.
New Dons boss Craig Brown signed Blackman on-loan for Motherwell, where he has starred this season.
The 21-year-old scored 10 goals in 15 games for Motherwell but has failed to hit the net in the four matches since Brown left for Pittodrie, says the Daily Record.
Brown has launched a bid to take Blackman to Aberdeen for the rest of the season and new Blackburn boss Steve Kean has sanctioned the move but left the final decision to the player.
Blackman is now weighing up a reunion with Brown but may decide to take the option of going on loan to an English Championship side.
