Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood fears captain Scott Severin may not renew his contract which expires at the end of the season. Calderwood said in the Evening Express: "Seve wants to stay at the club, but he has a big decision to make.
"He knows it's his last chance of a move to England.
"It's very similar to the Barry Nicholson scenario we faced last season."
He added: "Seve wants to speak to his agent and family and then we can start serious negotiations.
"The reports of Scott going were wide of the mark because he hadn't even been offered a deal at that time.
"(Director of football) Willie Miller has now spoken to his agent, so we will just have to wait and see how things go."
