Watford boss Malky Mackay is refusing to comment over his reported interest in Aberdeen skipper Scott Severin. The 30-year-old midfielder is expected to join up with the Hornets on a free transfer after his contract with the Dons expires.

But Mackay, who was named new Watford boss on Monday, said: "Scott Severin is an Aberdeen player and I don't talk about other people's players because it is disrespectful."
