Aberdeen boss McGhee remains keen on Man City kid Marshall

Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee is keen to sign Manchester City youngster Paul Marshall.

Marshall, 19, spent last week at Pittodrie, with McGhee confirming he had been impressed by what he saw.

He said in the Evening Express: "The fact that Marshall is still here says it all, and I will continue to assess him."

Marshall has also expressed his desire to join the Dons, saying last week: "I want to sign for Aberdeen because it is virtually impossible to break into the City team with the kind of money the club is spending."

Marshall, who has been on City's books since the age of 11, had loan spells at Blackpool and Port Vale last season but has yet to make his first-team debut for his parent club.
