Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood wants to win a trophy for the club before managing in England before his career is over.
"I want to win a trophy first," he said in the Evening Express. "I know for a fact that I can win trophies with Aberdeen, because we can beat any team in Scotland.
"We got to two semi-finals last season. Now all we have to do is take that next step."
Calderwood, who has been linked with Derby and Leicester in recent years, added: "It would take something special to make me leave a club like Aberdeen and go down south.
"Managing in England is maybe something that I would like to try at some point in my career.
"There have been a few opportunities that have come up but they did not suit me."
