Abel Resino takes charge of Granada
Former Atletico Madrid boss Abel Resino has been named new coach of Granada.
The 51-year-old Resino takes over a Granada side who, having won promotion to the top flight last season for the first time in 35 years, are just a point above the relegation places after losing four of their last five Primera Division matches.
A statement on the Granada website read: "Granada announce the appointment of Abel Resino as their new coach until June 30.
"Abel will take charge of his first training session tomorrow, after which he will be presented to the media at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes."
