Abel Resino has been named new coach of Granada.

Joaquin Caparros was sacked by Granada earlier this month.

Joseba Aguado looked after the team on Sunday in their 2-0 defeat against Atlético de Madrid (2-0).

Resino has coached the Andalusian team in the past, overseeing their affairs during the 2011/2012 season managing to save the team from relegation in their first year back in the top flight.
