AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati feels they silenced the critics with their 3-0 thumping of Champions League opponents Celtic.
Abbiati is pleased Milan "proved we're alive and kicking".
"This was important for a series of reasons and in a very difficult arena we proved we're alive and kicking," the goalkeeper told Sky Sport Italia.
"We attacked from the start and I compliment everyone, as it was not simple. There are still many games ahead of us, starting from Sunday, but this victory will certainly boost confidence for us and the fans, who always stayed close to us. We also want to dedicate this win to President Silvio Berlusconi."
