AC Milan fullback Ignazio Abate says they'll aim for the Europa League.

Milan currently sit in 11th place on the table.

"It hasn't been a great season, but we are Milan," he told Milan Channel.

"This year against the big teams we've matched them physically and mentally, and we had good results against Napoli and Roma.

"We have an obligation to make it to the Europa League, starting from Monday. It will be difficult, but it would be dangerous to start believing we can't take three points.

"Our goal is clear, we have to bring the whole club back together. We're very close to our Coach [Inzaghi] because he's always supported us.

"We'll work even harder throughout the week."
