After copping their first defeat of the season last weekend, the Roar will be desperate to get back on the winners list at home.
It's a pity they are facing the in-form side in the competition who are averaging two goals a game as they have swept to four wins in succession.
This should be a very intriguing battle which pits Reds striker Sergio van Dijk against his former club and he will be looking to prove himself to his new teammates.
The loss of Roar winger Henrique to a badly broken arm is a major blow plus the unavailability of defender Luke DeVere and young gun Mitch Nichols to national team duty with the Olyroos will also hurt.
Adelaide are playing well enough to win this and after the Roar defence was finally exposed last week, Rini Coolen's men should be able to pierce Ange Postecoglou's well-drilled charges.
