A-League review – Round 25

Round 25 of A-League action finished last night with the rescheduled match between North Queensland Fury and Newcastle Jets.

The Fury managed to keep their season alive with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over the Jets who dropped to sixth on the table and now need a win this weekend to secure their spot in the finals.

Elsewhere in the league, Gold Coast United sent a message to the rest of the competition with a gritty 1-0 win over league leaders Melbourne Victory on Friday night, Wellington Phoenix went a step closer to booking their first finals appearance with a 1-0 home win over Adelaide United, Brisbane Roar knocked off Sydney FC and Perth Glory eased past Central Coast Mariners 3-1.
