The first of the new teams joining the A-League next season, Gold Coast United have some big names on their inaugural playing list. Former PSV Eindhoven midfielder Jason Culina joins the club as their marquee player and captain.
He will be joined by reigning A-League Player of the Year, Shane Smeltz and fellow striker Joel Porter from English club Hartlepool United.
