Gold Coast United goalkeeper Glen Moss has warned the A-League's shot-stoppers about the shooting ability of Maceo Rigters.

The former Blackburn Rovers striker has been pulling up trees in training as he waits for his international clearance to be rubberstamped.

Moss told "Maceo has been looking the goods in training and was set to start against the (Wellington) Phoenix, until there was a delay with his visa.

"He's been working pretty hard and even doing extra sessions on his own to be match fit after arriving only a few weeks before game one.

"The guy doesn't hold back in shooting practice and has one of the fiercest strikes I've come up against ..."
