A-League champs Brisbane Roar grab first ACL point of 2012

Brisbane Roar have held Chinese club Beijing Guoan to a 1-1 draw in their second Group F match of the 2012 Asian Champions League.

Mitch Nichols headed home in the 20th minute to cancel out Piao Cheng's seventh-minute opener to give the Roar their first point after their 2-0 home loss to FC Tokyo in the group opener.

The draw leaves the Roar at the foot of their group on one pint, equal with Beijing, after Tokyo and Ulsan Hyundai drew 2-2 to both move to four points.

The next Group F matches take place on Wednesday, April 4 with Brisbane away at Ulsan and Beijing hosting Tokyo.
