Oscar believes Chelsea are in for a very special season following the shortfalls of 2013/14.
The Blues find themselves sitting on top of the Premier League table with 12 wins from 16 matches, managed to top their group in the Champions League, have progressed to the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup and are ready to contest the third round of the FA Cup which leads the Brazil midfielder to believe that silverware is on its way to west London this term.
"I look back on 2014 with happy memories. We didn't win a trophy but the team has grown very well and it is good for us if we can be at the top of the league when the year ends," he told the club's official website.
"It means we begin 2015 where we want to be, and sends out an important message.
"It was an important year for me - I played in the World Cup in my home country, and was very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea.
"Now I hope to end the year well and I think 2015 can be a special year for this team."
Chelsea, who defeated Derby County 3-1 in the league cup quarter-finals on Tuesday night, next take on 12th-placed Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Monday night
