11 men charged over offensive chanting towards Tottenham's Campbell

Eleven men have been charged by Police over the racial and homophobic abuse directed at Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell by visiting Tottenham fans earlier in the season.

Eleven men have been charged by Police over the racial and homophobic abuse directed at Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell by visiting Tottenham fans earlier in the season.

The accused supporters, including two 15-year-olds and a 13-year-old, will appear in court on Jan. 20, Hampshire Police said.

Campbell has been at Portsmouth since leaving Arsenal in August 2006 and has been a regular target for Tottenham fans.
