Arsenal's Van Persie: I'm not killer like Drogba, Torres

Robin van Persie admits he's still coming to terms with his new role at Arsenal.

The Dutch ace is in the best form of his career, but insists he is still getting used to their new 4-3-3 formation.

He told Voetbal International: "I don’t see myself as a true out-and-out striker. Guys likes Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba they are real killers. I feel I play between a target striker and a supporting striker. I am a combination of both."

The 26-year-old striker added: "In the league I have now contributed seven assists and I am just as proud of these as the seven goals I have scored. I find it crucial to be effective in both spheres for the team."

haha, this idiot Agger still lurks in these forums with nothing other to say? He always mentions success of years past. I guess that's what happens when you don't have anything to cheer for in the present. It's especially sad since he didn't even know about football, let alone see any of those championship winning teams in action. As the great Mr. T would say, I pity the fool who lives in the past.
