Arsenal's Arshavin dismisses Barcelona link

Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin has dismissed talk of a move to Barcelona.

"That is nothing more than a rumour," he told Sport Express. "I'm an Arsenal player and the only thing I am thinking about is preparing for the new season."

Arshavin also believes the Premier League remains the best in Europe despite Barca winning the Champions League and Real Madrid investing heavily this summer.

"If they do not solve the tax issues in England, it's possible that they will see an exodus of stars," he said.

"But, in my view, the Premier League is still the best. However, we will find out when we see what happens in the Champions League, of course."

weird.. when Fabregas was linked with Barca; everybody dissed him for being disloyal.. but when Arshaving was linked with Barca; nobody say anything abt him.. BIAS!!

seriously wenger really needs to offload adebayor and wateva he does nvr sell fab or this guy who is one of the rare gems in this world play him upfront with rvp n buy lorik cana then im sure we will rip every team ass apart and we will shut the ***** critics up
