Arsenal's Adebayor asks Man City for time to decide on move

Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor is delaying his move to Eastlands.

The Sun says Adebayor has asked Manchester City for more time before signing up to their revolution.

Arsenal striker Adebayor, 25, received a work permit yesterday, one of the final hurdles to a £25million move.

But the Togo ace’s delay could be an invitation for AC Milan to make an 11th-hour swoop.

Brian Marwood, City’s football administrator, flew down to London for more talks with the player on Wednesday. City have still to put him through a medical and have not booked one yet.

City boss Mark Hughes hopes Adebayor will join them for their first game against Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

Ade, i wish u all d best in career. Pls try 2 be converting ur chances 2 goals in ManCity if not u b a bench warmer. Not al coaches re as patience as Wenger so if had 50 chances try & net 30, not like when u were at arsenal, where u had 50 chances to 2 goal. Dont let d big pay puf ur head. Arsenal wil neva mis ur services.
