Arsenal keeping tabs on Chacarita Juniors fullback Lopez

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering a £2million swoop for Argentinian left-back Lisandro Lopez as competition for Gael Clichy.

The Gunners manager is likely to watch the 20-year-old in action for Chacarita Juniors before the end of the season, says the People.

Clichy's form has been indifferent this season and Wenger's scouts are looking at 6ft 1in Lopez as an alternative.
