Arsenal defender Campbell: I will play on next season

Sol Campbell intends to play on next season - with or without Arsenal.
The 35 year-old defender's short-term deal expires in June.
Campbell told the Sunday Times: “I’m definitely fit enough to be here next season. I’m going to play it by ear. That is what the gaffer has said. He’s looking for other players, but for me, it’s about giving it my all in these last few weeks, busting a gut to want to play.
“I hope I’ve added to the team. That’s why he brought me in. It’s about adding character and experience. William Gallas and Thomas Vermaelen are the manager’s main guys at the back and he wanted me to fill in the gaps. I’ve filled in the gaps well.”
