Arsenal boss Wenger hopeful of Campbell staying

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hope of keeping hold of defender Sol Campbell.

The Gunners opened their pre-season campaign with a comfortable 4-0 win at npower League Two side Barnet.

After the match, Wenger confirmed he expected both William Gallas and Mikael Silvestre to leave with their contracts now expired, but veteran Campbell could yet sign a one-year deal.
