Arsenal boss Wenger coy over Van Nistelrooy signing

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he's not currently in the market for Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

After victory over Stoke City, when asked about Van Nistelrooy, the man who is hated by Arsenal fans, Wenger became coy but gave the impression a deal was still a possibility, says The Sun.

He said: "It would not be the best of starts, bearing in mind our past relationship."

Whether or not the fans hate him, [and for me it is Keown who is the total pratt here], RvN would destroy the Arsenal team because of the need to play everything through him. Arsenal are a delightful, fluid team. Remember what ManU became when everything was all about RvN the poacher.
