Arsene Wenger insists he may not buy a new striker for Arsenal in January.

The Arsenal manager revealed this week he would like to reinforce his options in attack after learning Robin van Persie’s ankle injury would rule him out for most of the rest of the season.

But he said: "Let’s not dream too much. To find players who are world-class, have not played in the Champions League and are available, I wish you good luck. I’ll be on the market but that doesn’t mean I’ll buy."
