Arsenal boss Wenger accepts dicey Champions League draw chances

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger accepts they may be handed a difficult draw for their Champions League qualifier.

"We are conscious that there are tricky teams out there," Wenger said.

"But on the other side, nobody would like to play against Arsenal."

However, the Gunners boss is more concerned with fixture congestion before the season has even started.

He added: "What is tricky is we have an international friendly on the 12th, France plays an official game, Croatia plays an official game.

"Then we play on the 15th, the 19th, the 22nd, at Manchester United, then again on the 25th, the second leg of the Champions League.

"It is a very heavy schedule, and that is why I have to find the right balance in every game and to have no injuries is important.

"Qualification is not crucially financially for the club, it is crucial on the sporting side because we want to play for the best, and with the best is in the Champions League."

To be with the top and continue to play against these top teams
in the Championships, Arsenal need to ensure:
1. they have a number of strong squad to rotate,
2. new replacements to strengthen the defence
and attacking midfield,
3. strong and harmonious team spirit among the players.

The plus point is that Arsenal is reaping from its academy a crop of
very young and up-and-coming of age players like Wilshere,
Ramsey, Walacott and many others.

If you don't qualify for champion league, your era as a top manager is really gonna go down the drain. What's with the early excuse? The old Wenger was definitely more fiery and not a quitter. I think we have an imposter here!
