Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin is keen for Guus Hiddink to renew his deal as Russia coach.
Hiddink is expected to continue in charge of Russia on his £6.25million after-tax salary, which is funded by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
"If the proposal is interesting, he will certainly consider it," said captain Arshavin.
"Serious professionals do not pay attention to what is written. I hope that we will have a bright future. We have young and talented players."
