Arsenal’s Campbell a shock Celtic target

Arsenal defender Sol Campbell is being lined up for a shock move to Scottish club Celtic.

The 35-year old veteran, who is currently a free agent, is being monitored by the Hoops who are reportedly willing to offer a lucrative deal.

Cambpell recently finished a short-term deal with the Gunners but has been offered a one-year deal by Arsene Wenger who is keen to keep him as Campbell’s defensive partner William Gallas looks set to leave.

Celtic interim boss Neil Lennon, who is expected to get the top job, wants experience and leadership hence the link with Campbell who possesses both qualities.
