Ancelotti will speak to Terry over England captaincy issue
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti will talk to skipper John Terry following Fabio Capello’s decision to strip him of the England captaincy.
The 29 year old defender lost the armband on Friday, after allegations concerning his private life hit the headlines.
"I had no reason to talk with him before, his personal problems were his own," he told the Sunday People.
"Now he has lost the captaincy I will talk with him. I will be there for him because I know what that honour meant to him."
The Italian also insisted that recent events had not impacted on the Blues squad and there were no problems at Stamford Bridge.
"What we think about John [Terry] this week is the same as we thought last week and we will think the same next week. There is no change," he explained.
"He is a very important player for Chelsea because we know he was born into this club.
"I see John Terry at work every day on the training ground and there has been no change in his behaviour on the pitch.
"I haven't got a problem with John. We could have a problem if John came to work and didn't perform well, but he has performed well in this period."

luk "Roman's Soldier", th issue here is tht terry had an affair with a fellow TEAMMATES ex....and yes many will say it was an ex...but th ex is th mother of bridges child....and bridge as a teammate will feel he can never trust terry aen....and they wer gud frendz...th other teammates will feel tht if terry can do dis 2 a frend lyk bridge, then y wudnt he do sumthn lyk dis 2 us....if he randomly had affair wid sum random girl, dis wudnt matter and he def wud hav his captaincy...but th fact tht it was a teammates ex is wot killed it fr him....ion ne corporation, if u bang ne colleagues girl or ex....u get fired....he just got demoted...firing him wudve been out of th question, but stripping him of captaincy is not...
