Ancelotti will fine Chelsea players crowding ref
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has told his players not to crowd the ref - and will slap anyone who does with fines.
The hardline Italian boss is determined to shake off Chelsea's reputation for throwing tantrums and hissy fits every time a decision goes against them.
He said: "The other day, I refereed a little game with the first-team players. I did a bad job.
"The day after, the players arrived with a present for me. I opened it and there was a pair of big joke glasses!
"I don't even know what the score was in the game - I didn't have the glasses then.
"I just know Ashley Cole and John Terry lost.
"Maybe I'm not a good referee but no one put any pressure on me. If one player puts pressure on the referee during the training game, they have to leave the pitch.
"I do not accept protests like that and I don't like it when players complain to the referee. They should focus on the game.
"If a Chelsea player gets a red card for protesting or dissent, for sure they will be fined."
