Ancelotti: Chelsea now silencing opposition history taunts

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to silence opposition fans by building a dynasty at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to silence opposition fans by building a dynasty at Stamford Bridge.

"You've got no history, you've got no history," is what Blues supporters have to put up with around the country.

Ancelotti said: "I know what other fans sing to us and this is a good motivation to improve the history of this club.

"This is a very good motivation because the other teams then have to respect our history."

And the Blues' boss went a step further when he vowed to double the efforts to win the Champions League next season and complete the club's set.

Chelsea have won the FA Cup twice in the last three seasons and Ancelotti joked that perhaps his players could tell him how best to win it again.

Yet he arrived in London last year with a cup-winning pedigree in Italy, adding: "In my playing career I won four Italian cups with Roma.

"I also won as a coach in 2003 after we beat Juventus in the Champions League final.

"That was my favourite final. It was against Roma and their manager was Fabio Capello."
