Ancelotti: Chelsea not missing Drogba

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is delighted with the way they've coped without Didier Drogba.

Drogba has been away with Ivory Coast this month at the African Nations Cup.

Ancelotti said: "Actually we've done well without him - 12 goals in two games: Not bad, right?

"Besides, against Sunderland we scored seven and that's not bad as they're a good, mid-table team."

sunderland has not lost away to a big four team till chelsea trashed them.

I hope Carlo isn't being Naieve? Yes, Chelsea scored 12 in 2 games, against WATFORD and SUNDERLAND. Had we been playing better clubs then I bet we would have missed DD. We are just lucky we have faced smaller clubs (so far) without our African players. I just hope this naievity is not going to cost Chelsea by not buying decent cover whilst we have the chance to. If Fifa get the green light to reimpose a 2 window transfer ban, then those who have made decisions not to buy will be hounded out of the club by very disgruntled fans who demand the best, not also rans.
