AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti says their transfer plans will be influenced by which players return from injury.

Ancelotti said: "To lose players like Alessandro Nesta, Marco Borriello, Rino Gattuso has been detrimental to our season and also the lack of games for Kaka has become an issue because without him we lose speed, dynamism and unpredictability.

"The market for next season will depend on the recovery of Borriello and Nesta. Our priority is that Borriello recovers 100 percent because for next season he will certainly score more than ten goals.

"Nesta in mind is calm and peaceful. Physically he is making small steps forward. We have until August 31 to assess his condition. Over the next few days he will start to do some work with the team and then this summer will have a specific program and then participate in the preseason with the team.

"With Nesta and Thiago Silva for next year, the defence will clear up."
