Ancelotti – Terry is perfect for Chelsea
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has labelled John Terry the ‘perfect captain’ for the club despite recent news of infidelity.
Following the 2-0 triumph over Arsenal on Sunday which effectively made the Premiership a two-horse race between the Blues and Manchester United, Ancelotti once again backed Terry as the best man to lead the club towards the title even though he was stood down as England skipper during the week.
"John is the perfect captain for Chelsea," said Ancelotti.
"My captain has a fantastic attitude. He is doing very well in every game.
"It is very important for the team to have this leadership. He was always in control of the game. He has a strong mentality.
"He is working for his club and we are happy to have this performance from him in this moment.
"The England captaincy was not my decision and I do not want to judge about this decision. I knew John met Capello but I did not meet with (Terry) afterwards."

i think wid wot terry did most of th players wudve lost trust in him....and he shud def still b in th team...but not as th captain....i feel ferdinand shudnt b captain either, gerrard is th best choice fr th role of captain...but ath th end of th day, ther is never only 1 captain on th pitch. wether terry, gerrard, ferdinand, lampard and th likes of rooney are captain or not, they will still influence th game in th same way and will still hav tht leadership and inspiration on th field....thts th kindof game they play...so wether terry is captain or not, he will still b a leader in th team. captain is just for namesake...thers not just 1 captain in england....ther r quite a few captains....
ancelotti is a class act. john terry is the best defender & the best captain in world football. the english (particularly the english media) are a bunch of moral-less, hypocritical ****'s.
i'm an england fan first & foremost...& all this whole thing has done is undermine our best chance to win the world cup since 1966. no wonder the rest of the world hates us. we are ****'s. stupid ****'s.
