Ambrosini calls on AC Milan to take game to Roma

AC Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini says they must bounce back against Roma this weekend.

“We are going through a tough time and this is a very important game against a team that is above us in the table,” he said of this weekend’s Serie A clash.

“The situation is a delicate one and I really don’t need to add anything to that. We mustn’t look at the statistics or the fact that Roma have often brought me luck.

“Nor should we assume that simply because we have had a series of poor home performances that means things have to change. We are stepping on to the field for the first in a series of very difficult games.”
