Aloisi ready for Sydney FC start
Sydney FC striker is ready for a start to try and turn around the teams recent form slump.
Sky Blues coach Vitezslav Lavicka says the 33-year old will be called on to try and help his club revisit their good form from earlier in the season and snap a three-match losing streak.
Aloisi hasn’t had too much game time in recent weeks, mainly due to injury but also because Alex Brosque and Mark Bridge have been preferred to him, but it has been confirmed that he is ready to go against North Queensland Fury on Saturday night for just his seventh start of the season.
Johnny's an important player for us. To have him on the pitch is good," Lavicka declared on Thursday.
"He is ready and he brings benefits for the team,” Lavicak said. "Johnny is ready to play, Johnny is a good player (and) he played pretty good last game.
"He is ready to start. I don't like to say two-three days before the game but we are going to make some changes."
Sydney have scored just one goal in their past three matches and will need their strikers firing if they are to return to the winners list over a Fury side who pulled themselves off the bottom of the ladder with a 2-1 win over Adelaide United last week.
