Kevin Dillon is set to be named new Aldershot manager.
The Mirror says Dillon will be appointed manager of League Two Aldershot on Monday after beating Arsenal legend Tony Adams and Peter Taylor to the role.
Dillon, 49, who worked as a No.2 to Alan Pardew and Steve Coppell at the Madejski Stadium, replaces Gary Waddock, who joined Wycombe in October.
Former Birmingham, Portsmouth and Newcastle midfielder Dillon was in the stands to watch the Shots’ 2-0 victory over Bury in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Shots' acting chairman John Leppard said: “We saw about nine candidates, all of good quality and we have come out with our decision.”
