Paul Hart will be in charge of Portsmouth next season.
The Sun says new owner Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim arrives in London today to finalise his £60million takeover and expects to take control at Fratton Park on July 24.
The Arabian billionaire wants Hart to stay in charge for next season after scrapping plans to bring in big-name bosses Roberto Mancini or Sven Goran Eriksson.
Writing in a 48-page document entitled Portsmouth: The New Era, Al Fahim said: "Mr Hart understands this club better than anyone coming in from the outside and deserves the opportunity to take it forward."
Hart took over for the last 14 games last term and guided Pompey to top-flight survival after moving up from academy boss.
