Agent of Real Madrid’s Gago hits out at Man City

The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago has slammed the actions of Manchester City after the English club attempted to sign the player.

According to agent Marcello Lombilla, City were close to agreeing a deal for Gago but then turned their attentions to Kenyan McDonald Mariga before that deal fell through due to work permit issues.

Following that, the Eastlands club came back in for Gago at the last minute but a deal could not be worked out and Lombilla admitted that he had never seen a club deal in the way City had.

"City used us," Lombilla told radio station Onda Cero.

"This has never happened to me before.

"I don't want to talk about the figures that City were offering because they approached Madrid without even knowing there wasn't physically enough time to put something together."

Gago will now remain with Madrid and work hard to push for more first team action says Lombilla.

"Despite the fact he went from being 'untransferable' to suddenly 'for sale', he will always continue to work hard," he stated.

Total rubbush.
RM tried to scam us for as much as possible.

Then when our attempt to sign McDonald fell through we went back to them for a loan deal. They didn't want this and we were in negotiations about the price which eventually had dropped over 25%.
Until the price was agreed how could we legally talk to the player or his agent.
No documents signed !!! Well i am a lawyer and whenever deals are agreed they are drafted and then printed once ready for signing. No one has a piece of paper hanging around signed in contemplation of a deal being signed. They don't take long to print you know !!
Another anti-City story jumped on by the press without any questioning or thought as to whether maybe RM or the agent have an agenda here. RM need to keep the player they are now keeping happy and the agent also needs to justify himself to his player.
