Agent: Ibrahimovic became a zombie at Barcelona
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Sun, 09/05/2010 - 02:05
The agent of AC Milan signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he turned into a "zombie" at Barcelona.
Mino Raiola managed to get Ibra a move back to Italy with Milan last week.
He said: “At Barcelona, Ibra was about to become a zombie. Pep Guardiola didn’t consider him at all and he had his back against the wall.
“We left because Milan have given that joy back to Zlatan. In all honesty, we don’t know the reasons behind the breakdown of the rapport with Guardiola. That’s the truth.
“All of a sudden the situation changed and at that stage it was crucial to consider a different future.”

Ibra was a complete wrong buy for barca though that doesn't make him less a good player as no one is in doubt of his ability (skill). I think he was played on the wrong position and he was also immobile. Such players don't thrive in Camp Nou. In barca, skill is less meaningful but mobility is of great value (Eto'o is not skillful but he anticipates every move well). Ibra doesn't have that and definitely things would fall apart.
There is bound to be differences but Raiola should have handle things professionally and not passing blame which has taken custody of him.
Ibra is in Milan on loan so anything could still happen.
Pep doesn't deserve any blame, a couch like Ferguson would have kept Ibra on bench for a long time but Pep still played him and everyone was hoping he would come resurrect even until he was loaned to milan.
They have to push him away for a while because of his wages.
Villa is a very good replacement for Ibra...barca would be almost unstoppable this season and i pity Rubin in the CL group stage.
Finally, Ibra was indeed a Zombie in camp nou.
Obiously Raiola is part of the cause that made Ibrahimovic went on a nothing-player, a disguise of what he could be. Ibra went to one of the biggest team squad ever-where he was treated like a child everyday caring for him, both players and manager- and start claiming he wanted be treated like the best player when from the first day he did nothing to claim that range, otherside, Mino Raiola started punching manipulated devices on Ibra, who, as a child he is, let him fill his head with wrong ideas and destroying his future. Mino Raiola and Ibrahimovic could never be more than 3 seasons in any team, and of course, that pair will bring more bad relations in any squad they will meet
K3vin u got it wrong. Pep is not d best coach in d world. He is just a starter. When dey talk abt d best, u name d likes of sir alex, vicente del busque, lippi, guss hiddink & probably d best d special one (jose mourinho). Honestly speaking we cherish pep but he is not d best. Galacticos till my last breath.
