The agent of Roma fullback Cicinho has confirmed a deal is close with Sao Paulo.

Cicinho could move to Sao Paulo on-loan in the coming days.

Ricardo Sarti said: "As a matter of respect, I prefer to wait for that meeting (with Rosella Sensi), but the deal is well underway. We have an agreement with Sao Paulo that has improved its proposal for the player, and we have already sought the green light from Roma.

"Cicinho wants to leave Roma in a friendly way."
