The agent of Real Betis midfielder Achille Emana says the club refused to consider any offers for his client during the summer.

Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City all tried for the Cameroon international before the market closed last week.

Emana's agent, Herve Tchinda, admitted to L'Equipe yesterday that Betis simply refused to do business.
