The 22-year old has been in impressive form since joining from Sydney FC this season, scoring three goals including the late winner against the Sky Blues on Monday night, and has been rewarded for his efforts.

Ramsay said he was very happy to be committing himself to the Reds who have made him feel more than welcome since his arrival.

“From the start everyone at the club has been very welcoming towards me and made it easy for me to settle in quickly,” Ramsay said.

“My performances so far have helped me a lot and I have very much enjoyed it here. I think it is the right place for me to stay and I’m enjoying every minute of it so far.

“With (head coach ) Rini (Coolen) and (assistant Phil Stubbins) Stubbsy, their coaching will definitely benefit me for my future, and their belief that I can be a player that is capable of doing well at this club was a big influence in my decision to stay here.”
