Adelaide United face race against time to have recruit Rudan cleared
The 33-year old has signed with the Reds but after the A-League experienced two international clearance bungles on the weekend, the club wants to ensure he is clear to take on his former club.
Adelaide’s South Korean signing Inseob Shin was unable to take his place in the season opener against Perth Glory on Friday night and coach Aurelio Vidamr doesn’t want the same to happen to Rudan who requires a clearance from Liechtenstein outfit FC Vaduz.
"You need to take that up with our football director (Michael Petrillo). That's his side of the business, not mine," Vidmar said about Shin's predicament.
"They've known for a month that he needs a clearance and it's just taken far too long.
"I feel sorry for Shin because he was really keen to go out there so, unfortunately, he'll have to wait another week."
