Adelaide United confirm Cornthwaite as second swine flu case
Adelaide United has confirmed defender Robert Cornthwaite is its second swine flu case.
The 23-year old has joined new striker Lloyd Owusu as Reds players who have contracted the influenza.
Adelaide club doctor James Ilic expects Cornthwaite will be cleared and ready to return to training on Monday, putting him in the frame to possibly face Melbourne Victory in a pre-season friendly on Sunday 26 July at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.
Young Reds midfielder Joe Costa has also been missing from action for over a week after being laid up with illness, however tests have cleared him of swine flu.
