Adelaide coach Vidmar required to complete ‘A’ licence

Adelaide United coach Aurelio Vidmar will need to complete a Football Federation Australia/Asian Football Confederations ‘A’ licence before this year’s Asian Champions League kicks off.

The AFC have informed the Reds that Vidmar must complete this licence before he can be registered as head coach.

Currently, Vidmar is only able to serve the club as assistant coach in the ACL but not head coach unless he fulfils the minimum coaching criteria for the AFC tournament.

Adelaide's group stage campaign kicks off on February 23 with a home fixture against defending Asian champions Pohang Steelers of South Korea.
